The first 5 interlocking Kelly bar, 630-5*24m, after its service in several projects, came into use in Yangtze River Bridge recently. This Kelly bar has been used more than 1.5 years, about 6000 hrs.
The piling job of this Yangtze River Bridge is a bit difficult, as the max pile diameter is 2.5m, max depth is about 100m and hard rock should be socked in the bottom. After 70hrs working, this Kelly bar won the first pile.
